Professor Glaude, I believe that we must be substantively honest in our "This Is Us!", conversations because innocent lives continue to be lost both abroad and at home to the degree of our fidelity to the lie and self-delusion that we are an "exceptionally holy, pure and righteous nation" - a self-exaltation that is not born out by the facts.

America continues to suffer from its stubborn and willful arrested development and now commercial capitalism's predatory and imperialistic proclivities have started nibbling on its own toes by eviscerating the credibility of our own institutions and more broadly, global institutions that it usurps and uses for its own ends.

The Global South is moving on and charting a new path that leads with a multi-polar vision that is marginalizing to insignificance the continued hemogenistic and Eurocentric "status quo" vision of the world that prioritizes Europe's (commercial capitalist) interests at the expense of the Global Community.

I don't really know how we confront, address and resolve DORA - "Denial Of Reality America".

Thank you for your voice on state sanctioned killing of anyone, but one more time, this week of the innocent; and so much more.

Dr. Glaude,

Thank you for commenting on Marcellus William’s execution. We all know that the death penalty is the ultimate punishment for a crime. It is discriminatory and used for the poor and most vulnerable!
