This is comment is a tangent -- I'm listening to Nick Tabor's book, Africatown, and am astounded to recognize in the right's political maneuvers today echoes of how the Democrats (at the time) in Alabama in 1890 sought to establish white supremacy 'by the law'. Also recognizable is corporate dominance of the economy, and low taxes for the wealthiest, giving rise to populism. It makes me wonder if these dynamics are ever-present in American life, of if they ebb and flow?

Thank you for your moral clarity and encouragement, always. Just finished reading 'We are the Leaders We've Been Looking For" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If we all took CRT we would all be on the same page but lack of education is dividing the wheat from the tare in my opinion
