Dr. Glaude,
Thanks so much for addressing the issue of the presidential pardon. As a Black teacher in an inner city community for 50 years, I saw generational incarcerations. It’s time to clear the books, set the record straight, and give people a chance to become contributing members in our society!
Thanks for the weekly round up. This is the first time listening, discovered it on Bluesky. There has been so much news that has happened this week after your recording last week. Seems like a month ago.. My thoughts on President Biden‘s pardon of Hunter: I agree he should not have put himself in a box like he did, but I believe he absolutely thought that, was going to win, and he could trust that she would pardon him during her administration, because democracy would still be at the forefront of Harris administration. If the Republicans go after the safety social safety nets. They will have their base to worry about, and they have been proven that they are unhinged. Finally , if they put veterans health benefits on the chopping block they will need to look out for a bunch pissed off veteran marines or special forces members with PTSD if their coverage is taken away.
Didn’t know about Walmart’s decision to backtrack on DEI out of fear of Trump. Thanks for the info. Can we show Walmart a little muscle? If you have extras of say, bandages (I do), pain killers, can we bring some little/big? things to share when we see people we know and help each other avoid Walmart? Here in Canada we got mad at our largest grocery chains and a young woman suggested a boycott of the largest one, I think it was a couple of weeks in when she was surprised that the CEO invited her to have coffee with him.
Thanks so much for your wrap up and for all you do and the privilege to comment. Bless you!
thank you for being a part of this community!
Spot on as always.

Thank you so much for being a voice of reason and power and light.
Thank you for this message. My money is going to leave all the companies that choose to do this. I refuse to feel helpless.
