We are seeing some of what some brave whistleblowers are revealing, but youβre right: workaday orders to revise our memorialized history are continuing, one display, one citation at a time.
It has always been βfacts on the groundβ that mattered and not words on a page. There is no point assigning blame at this point. It is either there will be a long term negotiated vision of what life will be like in Palestine and Israel that is supported economically, politically and honestly by allβ¦globallly and for generations like Germany and Japan after WWII.
Or there is not.
Nothing else will bring peace. Justice can happen after that is underway.
The lies we tell ourselves as Americans... you talked about the moral center - the moral core. I find it interesting that it's the Epstein files that are getting these people's - these Trump supporters to "finally see the light". But let's be clear -- we've known his moral corruption from the start. But the lies we Americans have been taught and continue to believe -- you even said this one thing that kills me because I just fully understood it recently:
The United States is not the richest country in the world.
Not really. Technically we are not. Why? Hereβs the catch: wealth concentration.
Wealth inequality is extreme in the US. The top 1% of Americans hold more wealth than the bottom 90% combined.
Billionaires like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos skew the national wealth profile dramatically. If you removed ultra-wealthy individuals, the average wealth per person drops significantly. The U.S. would no longer top the charts in per capita wealth. Countries that outrank the U.S. in wealth per person: Luxembourg, Switzerland, Ireland β all rank above the US in per capita wealth.
We lie all the time about our country, about our history - leaving out accurate and important parts of Black history and others that actually matter to the fabric of this place... but being skewed by so many things is why it's so easy to manipulate us. Why they are able to take people off the streets and send them to prisons all over the world -- because Americans..."Americans" -- keep thinking they are better than everyone else.
All of this goes to the moral core of who we really are. The lies are so woven into the fabric of who we are, that we can't see the forest for the trees. So easily manipulated. The democrats acting as if they won "the messaging" -- my goodness. At what cost? Again, because we always believe the lies because it makes us feel better. We never deal with the reality. The true pain of America...
I think I have to stop listening to you on a Saturday morning... it kind breaks my soul. But, then again, it's a good reality check and helps keep me grounded. So thank you.
Thank you, sir. You are a National treasure

Dr. Eddie,
Sending traveling graces as you travel to Austin.
βRespect for the fragility of life and importance of an individual life is still the mark of an educated man.β - unknown
It is unsettling to think that many of our lawmakers donβt respect, appreciate or value their constituents.

YES! IMPERIALISM! WE. HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING THERE!
DT and his cohorts have plans to make Gaza a high priced Riviera.
