Good Morning Dr. Eddie,

My family is traveling from Cleveland to Nashville to be with family and friends. We will enjoy our regular dinner. However, afterwards we have a delicious discussion to share ideas from your new book as well as how we plan to move forward in the midst of this chaos . Know that I appreciate you and all that you’re doing to make our world a better place.

I truly concur with this: If we're not angry with our current situation, something is wrong.

I think I got that right. If not I'm close enough.

Professor, I loved your talk with Nicolle. So glad she had you on! And so glad I met you in MA.

I'm keeping my ;love " close to the ground." Along with my morning prayers, I repeat it to myself every day and have also shared it with others. I know I have already gotten through to a few folks that this is OUR problem. We are in this together.

Stay well. Sending hugs from your 72 year old birthday friend, Robin.

Dr. Glaude: I was hoping Nicolle was going to have you on her podcast, and your conversation was everything I could have hoped for. So grateful for your honesty.

Our current moment is beyond frightening and depressing. I've never been naive about this country, but the level of greed, cruelty, and hatred that exists today is beyond anything I have seen in my lifetime.

I was born two years after the end of World War II. Not everyone in my generation should be looked upon with disdain. Many of us tried to make a difference when we were young and still feel a responsibility to work to create a multicultural, empathic, equitable union.

I have your book and look forward to reading it.
