The words, the rhythm of thought as each sentence paints a portrait of the invisible « soul » fully visible. I marvel at what DuBois has written in 1910 and asked myself how is it that black souls have had such generous souls?
It is 116 years since WEB Dubois wrote this article. In that time Black America has learned that they are the descendants of the biblical Israelites fitting Deuteronomy 28.
In that same time period the world has learned that Whites self-identify as Edomites for example in the 1853 book of William Beeston titled, "The Roman Empire the Empire of the Edomite".
The destinies of these two very different Peoples have been decreed. Right now, Black America wants to be left alone to heal, and in obedience to God, build their own Table. Thus, they come out of Babylon the great. We are also seeing a spontaneous reconnection between Black people worldwide: USA, Canada, the Caribbean, South America and Africa. Also, the world is getting multipolar and Black America can form partnerships with fresh new Communities, ones they can trust. Right now, Native America and Black America have decided to unite. That is quite interesting because the authentic Native Americans are also said to be descendants of the biblical Israelites.
We are certain that Black America will remain as strong as their ancestors were, knowing that the signs will be like when their Israelite ancestors were liberated from slavery in Egypt. They too will similarly be liberated and "with much substance!". So not with the very measly and puny Reparations that they currently seek. They are the apple of God's eye. So, they will see "Egypt" go down, as total liberation happens to them. Like the Exodus liberation but on a grander scale. Remain blessed. 👊🏾

What struck me most is how much of the psychology he describes still feels familiar.”

You are not just giving us information about our history and the context that gave rise to it and what we are currently experiencing, you are giving us medicine to heal our wounded souls, to re-member our shattered hearts, so that we can get to the end of this stony road that we have been trodding since we first encountered the peoples of Europe.
This post has been an answer to a prayer I literally wailed shortly after October 7th 2023, when I witnessed the response to the Palestinian people by the western governments and press. There was a vacuousness of any humanity in the way they declared their unequivocal support for Israel and what they were doing to the people whose land they had stolen and continue to steal. One day when I had had enough, I literally doubled over clutching my belly and wailed, "God! Who are these people among whom we must live?" and wept!
Reading the Souls of White Folks yesterday, and tuning in to your live discussion today was the beginning of the answer to that prayer. I've read the Souls of Black Folks but I am so excited to get a new copy and read again along with you and this community during your "Office Hours". Thank you Dr. Glaude, I appreciate you more than you can ever imagine. Continue to allow the Divine Reality and our ancestors to use you in their project of the global 'salvation' of humankind. I am 74 years old and was getting tired, but as always your work energizes me and today I can say in the words of the Negro Spiritual,
"I don't feel no ways tired
Come too far from where I started from
Nobody told me the road would be easy
I don't believe he brought me (us) this far to leave me..."

I have long believed, ever since I came in contact with the works of Dr. Welsing and Neely Fuller, that the mindset of white people involves an intense hatred/jealousy of the greatness of melanated people. This is who and what they are. They cannot change. Our challenge is how we unite and maneuver our way around his demented, maniacal, diabolical plans to destroy us mentally and physically!
