Really hard listening to this today. I walked down to the beach, foggy misty day here and just listened. It really has been a horrible week. Everything you said was on point. It really is affecting all of us. I never get on a rampage - and even I lost it this week - and probably over the dumbest thing, but - like you say - "It is what it is." But after all of it and trying to keep it together this entire week, it was this man, this ridiculous pathetic man writing BS under the pictures of former Presidents in the White House... I mean, why was that my breaking point? I have no idea. It's so much... it's a lot. It is EVERY DAY. I curse. I make no apology for that, but yesterday on our show I started out just so angry... it was even all just too much for me. The good news is, you are right. I am grateful to be here. I am grateful to be able to listen to you. And I will continue to fight, even if some days, I fall and find it hard to get up, I will continue to listen to folk like you, who keep reminding me of hope. And I will hold my loved ones close...and live to fight another day. Sending much love and joy to all.

Johnson and GOP=RACISTS, war mongers, pedophile & sex trafficking protectors, liars. When Europe prepares for World War III what are we doing? Publishing Russia's policy as our U.S. Security Strategy is beyond insane. When reality is not a shared experience we have this absolute craziness. Christ would be so disappointed in us. Love & light?. I understand.
Really appreciate the framing around moral rot vs the impulse to just catalog atrocities. The point about how babies starving in Gaza gets drowned out by procedural ceasefire talk is something I've been thinking about a lot tbh. Last week I found myself explainnig to a friend why the news felt extra heavy, and it's exactly this accumulation effect where the sheer volume starts to numb instead of motivate. The rededication to love and light feels neccesary but I wonder if it's enough when the systems actively reward the moral monsters for their cruelty. Still, the alternative is giving up entirely and that's not an option.

I do remind myself that the angst that sets in is by design on the part of the monsters. We have to, for the sake of our sanity, reject their efforts to unnerve us. in the stacks a Congresswoman who is representing Congress on the Kennedy Center voiced that the meeting was virtual and every time she was speaking against, voting against the rename she was muted. and in fact her vote was Not counted. I agree about those who surround T**** being responsible for much of the insanity that is coming out of this regime, but what's more, they are responsible for failing to do their patriotic duty and remove a dangerous, demented man from his position of power.
