Realistically this nation keeps coming back to this. A nation preaching everyone is equal is getting tired of saying everyone is equal. It’s pretty obvious. It’s right there to see. Grown up adult people with good hearts do not behave like this. Bad people behave like this. But when bad people get the support of over 63 million people with most of the non voters just watching it all go down then yeah…..
The constitution was written by white men who either own slaves or white men who thought it was a great idea to work side by side with men who own slaves. That very principle makes it impossible for America to ever succeed as being a true melting pot nation. Best we can hope for is this administration is pushed out and replaced with ‘normal’ again and hope the racists and misogynists go back into hiding? That’s a sad outcome. But that will always be America.
