To see the gains of the civil right movement unraveled before our eyes is indescribable. Tomorrow, hopefully millions of US residents will come out in 2500+ locations to say that they reject this authoritarian project. But one day is not enough. We need consistent push back to turn the tide.

This administration is poisoning the nation so I looked up the meaning of antidote. The relevant definition, "celebration or creative event as a counter to a negative event ". The best antidote I have witnessed is the response to ICE in Portland of wearing costumes, dancing, bands playing! Our joy is the antidote! Congressional Democrats could hold a celebration on the Capitol steps everyday of what Democrats have done for Americans and what they plan to do! We must respond from our joy rather than rage. That is the antidote!
