It is so hard to witness the destruction of the country, but this "rupture" is necessary to the current sleeping generation as to the dangers of white supremacy. Americans have been asleep at the wheel for a long time and that is why our democracy is on the brink. At least the monsters are waking people up to the truth. Sad to say it takes such extreme violence for people to pay attention to the cliff we are about to launch ourselves over. But the racism is baked into the structure and that is what people need to understand.
